Audience Non Compliance with Rules/Respectful of Others
Last week, directly shared feedback with RCMH was as follows:
I have gone every year to this event since I was a kid. This year, the show was still amazing, but I had an awful experience. Here are my seats: Sunday 11am show Sec ORCH6, Row C, Seat 601 - 603. My daughters, aged 8 and 9, sat in the two interior seats. The family of 5 in front of us allowed their older children, at least 8 and 9 with Santa hats, to stand most of the show. It was quite maddening. I approached them twice to request they sit, and when the usher asked the woman behind me to stop using her phone (THREE TIMES), I mentioned about the standing kids. It was very distressing as my girls had obstructed view for most of the show. I even contemplated taking them back, which seems insane after this. My final point is, if there could be a policy to not allow late entry beyond a few minutes, that would help reduce distractions. There was no one seated directly behind where these two girls were standing, but it is unacceptable to have mini adults standing for the entire show two rows back.
